Let's Grab a Bite on Campus

Let's talk about food options on campus - because let's be real, we all know how important it is to stay fueled during a long day of classes, studying, and socializing.

1. The Food Court


First up, we have the food court at the University Center. You can grab a quick bite from Panda Express, Subway, Miami Chicken Co, Sushi Maki, Pollo Tropical, and Vicky Cafe. It’s quick, cheap and you have a variety of options.


2. Starbuck



Next up, we have the ever-popular Starbucks locations on campus. Located at the Shalala Student Center, you can get your caffeine fix and a quick bite to eat. And let's be honest, who doesn't love a good Starbucks pastry?

3. Archivist Cafe



If you're in need of a cozy spot to relax and study, Archivist Cafe is your go-to. Located in the Richter Library, they offer a variety of sandwiches, salads, and pastries. It's the perfect place to grab a snack and get some work done.

4. Half Moon Empanadas



Craving something unique and delicious with a Miami flavor? Half Moon Empanadas has got you covered. Their empanadas come in a variety of flavors like chicken, beef, guava, spinach, cheese, and my personal favorite “cheesy gaucho”. Trust us, they're worth the try! They have their locations, one at Dooly Memorial, one at the School of Communication’s courtyard, and at the Business School Courtyard.

5. Fresh Fusion Salad Company


Fresh Fusion Salad Company offers fresh, healthy options for those who are looking to stay on track with their diet. Their salad bar is filled with an abundance of toppings, dressings, and ingredients to make the perfect salad. And the best part? You can create your own custom salad for an affordable price. FFSC is located outside the Shalala Student Center.

6. The Rathskeller



Now, let's talk about the Rathskeller. This on-campus bar and grill is the perfect spot for a hangout with friends. You can grab a burger, wings, or nachos and enjoy some live music or entertainment. It's a favorite spot for many Hurricanes and definitely worth checking out.

7. Tacos and Tattoos



If you're feeling adventurous, Tacos and Tattoos is a must-try. This spot located inside the UC serves delicious bowls, tacos, fries, and burritos that you can customize and add as many toppings as you like. We couldn’t get Chipotle but T&Ts is a close second.

8. Einstein Bros Bagels



Located in the School of Law, Einstein Bros. offers a variety of bagels, sandwiches, and coffee options. It's the perfect spot for a quick breakfast before class or a midday snack. Plus, their bagels are so delicious and fresh - you won't regret stopping by!

9. Daybreak


Daybreak at the Lakeside Village offers a variety of breakfast options, including pancakes, eggs, and smoothie bowls. They also have a great coffee selection and a cozy atmosphere perfect for studying or catching up with friends.

10. Smoothie King


If you're looking for a healthy smoothie, Smoothie King located at Lakeside Village, is the perfect spot for you. Their smoothies are made with fresh ingredients and can be customized to your liking. Plus, they offer a variety of protein and supplement options, making it a great post-workout snack.


BONUS: Wednesday’s Market



And last but not least, Wednesday's Farmer's Market offers fresh, local produce and artisanal goods. It's a great opportunity to support local businesses and try some of the local cuisines. From arepas to acai bowls and Korean fried chicken, Wednesday’s Market is a student favorite for many reasons.

So there you have it - some of the best food options on campus at the University of Miami. Whether you're in the mood for fast food, healthy options, or something unique and delicious, there's something for everyone. So go ahead and indulge - you deserve it!
